Criteria

There are three categories of NNJ Network membership:

1. State-based Organizations Seeking Criminal Justice Reform
State-based organizations meeting NNJ’s membership criteria will be recommended by members of the Board of Directors for membership. They may also apply to join. There will be no limit on the number of organizations or individual members from a state. However, only one representative per state-based organization will be authorized to vote on NNJ issues and for candidates for the Board of Directors.

2. National Criminal Justice Organizations Working in the States
National groups meeting NNJ’s membership criteria will be recommended by members of the Board of Directors for Network membership. Representatives may serve on working groups but do not have a vote.

3. Individuals
