Many organizations new to criminal justice reform are entering state criminal justice policy debates or launching organizing initiatives. The NNJ is responding to this need by sharing information on issues, data, and strategic approaches germane to their individual state and local struggles; including them in information sharing networks; and strengthening their relationships with other organizations facing similar challenges. NNJ serves in this capacity without requiring adherence to any particular strategic approach.
